Our Ingredients

  • Salmon (deboned, fresh)

Salmon, from wild and farmed fisheries, is a source of highly digestible protein; it provides essential amino acids required for the growth and repair of muscle and can also be used for energy. Salmon is a hypoallergenic protein source, it is less likely to trigger allergic reactions in dogs and cats. Salmon meat is delivered to our facility on the day of production to ensure freshness.

  • Salmon meal

Dried and ground salmon with water and fat content reduced, is a concentrated source of highly digestible protein; it provides essential amino acids required for the growth and repair of muscle and can also be used for energy. Salmon meal has balanced calcium and phosphorus levels for bone health, and long-chain omega 3 fatty acids for skin and immune health, and brain development in young animals.

  • Salmon Oil

Salmon oil is high in longer chain omega 3 fatty acids, specifically EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These are used by the body to manufacture signals that control the immune system’s responses and inflammation.

  • Salt/Sodium chloride (mineral)

A sodium and chloride supplement typically found in pet food, providing these two essential minerals. Sodium and chloride are important in helping the pet maintain proper fluid balance, regulating thirst and urinary excretion of waste materials.

  • Sodium selenite (mineral)

A source of the mineral selenium which acts as a key component of the body's own antioxidant systems to protect cells from damage by free radicals. Works with vitamin E to protect cells.

  • Sodium Tripolyphosphate

A sodium salt that provides dental benefits to pets by binding to free calcium in the saliva and on the surface of the teeth, preventing or decreasing the formation of calculus.

  • Spinach

Spinach is exceptionally rich in carotenoids, including beta-carotene and lutein and contains quercetin, a phytochemical with antioxidant properties. Spinach is also a good source of essential minerals, magnesium and manganese.

  • Squash

Squash or zucchini is an excellent source of beta-carotene and vitamin C, both of which have antioxidant properties, and potassium, an electrolyte essential in maintaining fluid balance, contraction of muscle fibres and proper functioning of the heart.

  • Sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of complex carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and beta-carotene antioxidants. The starch in sweet potatoes converts to sugar easily and provides quick energy. Sweet potatoes are not part of the "night shade" family.
